Instructional Coach

Hello!

My name is Bethany Leach, and this is my 5th year working at Hornsby-Dunlap Elementary. I am also the proud mom of three Hornsby Hound Dogs and have been an active member of the parent community since 2016. I am very grateful to be part of this incredible community!

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from the College of the Ozarks and a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics: Foreign Language Pedagogy from the University of Massachusetts. I have worked in education for 13 years and have spent the last four years as a 4th and 5th grade teacher at Hornsby. I am excited to begin my new role as Instructional Coach this year!

I am passionate about my own growth and development as an educator and about helping teachers on their professional journeys, as well. Together, along with our parent community, we can ensure that all students become successful and enthusiastic learners. I am exited to begin this new chapter and be part of all the growth and learning that I I know this year will bring!

Me llamo Bethany Leach y este es mi quinto año trabajando en la Escuela de Hornsby-Dunlap. También soy la orgullosa madre de tres alumnos de Hornsby y he sido parte de la comunidad de padres desde 2016. ¡Estoy muy agradecida de ser parte de esta comunidad increíble!

Tengo una licenciatura en Español del College of the Ozarks y una maestría en Lingüística Aplicada (Pedagogía de Lenguas Extranjeras) de la Universidad de Massachusetts. He trabajado como maestra para 13 años y he trabajado los últimos cuatro años como maestra de cuarto y quinto grado en Hornsby. ¡Me entusiasma comenzar mi nuevo puesto como *Instructional Coach* este año!
