Assistant Principal - Ramos

Hi, I'm Mamie Ramos, Assistant Principal at Hornsby-Dunlap Elementary! This is my 14th year in education and my third year serving our amazing Hound Dog community. Throughout my career, I've worked as an elementary teacher, math interventionist, district math coordinator, and now assistant principal. I am passionate about supporting students, empowering teachers, and building strong relationships with families. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking new recipes, reading and gardening. I am grateful to be part of the Hornsby-Dunlap family and look forward to another great year of learning and growth!

¡Hola! Soy Mamie Ramos, Subdirectora de la Escuela Primaria Hornsby-Dunlap. Este es mi decimocuarto año en educación y mi tercer año sirviendo a nuestra increíble comunidad de los Hound Dogs. A lo largo de mi carrera, he trabajado como maestra de primaria, especialista en intervención matemática, coordinadora distrital de matemáticas y ahora como subdirectora. Me apasiona apoyar a los estudiantes, fortalecer a los maestros y construir relaciones sólidas con las familias. Cuando no estoy en la escuela, disfruto pasar tiempo con mi familia, cocinar nuevas recetas, leer y trabajar en mi jardín. Estoy agradecida de formar parte de la familia de Hornsby-Dunlap y espero con entusiasmo otro excelente año de aprendizaje y crecimiento.
